Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, during a media appearance at a recent award function, candidly shared insights into the challenging times his family faced over the past 4-5 years. Despite his triumphant return to the silver screen with blockbusters like 'Pathaan,' 'Jawan,' and 'Dunki' in 2023, SRK revealed that the journey wasn't without its share of difficulties.

SRK's Take On Career Slump

Addressing the audience, Khan spoke to News18 about the slump in his career, with several films in the past 4-5 years facing lacklustre performances. He stated that most of his films flopped and trade analysts had started writing his death knells. The actor didn't mince words, comparing trade analysts to "idiots" who had prematurely written him off.

"The last 4-5 years have been a bit of a ride for me and my family. I'm sure for some of you also because of Covid. Most of my films flopped. Analysts started writing my death knells, some idiots did the same which actually is the same thing, analysts and idiots. Not something that I really bother about," the actor said.
